I think they're about equal, too. Albon's had some shite luck, but I'd put him and Gasly solidly in the middle third of drivers out there.

I think Albon has continuously shown himself to be a reckless driver. I am not a big fan of his. I’d be curious to see how he did on another team though. It’s extremely difficult to judge any driver just off a stint at one team.

He had some good races at Toro Rosso, but he didn't really excel against Kvyat there. Albon is still #6 in the drivers standings so he isn't exactly hot garbage at the moment despite being lackluster at times.
Team wise his options are a bit limited for the next few years. Maybe a Formula E stint is in his future.

If Albon doesnt get punted twice by Hamilton he would probably would be further ahead now than gasly.

F1 Insta claiming Hamilton was summoned to the stewards during the stoppage. Was Antonio too? I don’t remember him going up to then... So F1 covering for Hamilton’s hissy fit?

It would piss off a lot of people to find out he was summoned there.
Haven't seen a camera show it, but Toto went to the stewards and was in the room as well.

But why would he be? I can see the reverse of course, Merc going to try to pursuance them... but the stewards don’t need Hamilton in there to justify his penalty.

Drivers going to see the stewards isn't abnormal. During the race obviously is rare, but so are red flags. So are red flags in which a driver is under investigation for a really rare situation.
Teams will send people to see the stewards all the time during the race. The situation allowed for HAM to be go into the stewards room to plead his case, and as he said to see the video that he hadn't seen until then. youtube to radio
Listening to the radio exchange it doesn't seem like Lewis was really bitching or complaining. Saying 'This is bullshite' was the worst it got. Other than that he didn't argue he hadn't done anything wrong.
Whether Gio went to the stewards or not I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if someone from Alfa went through.

Just trying to understand if the cover for Hamilton conspiracy is legit...
Like I said, what it looks like is he went to complain and now F1 is covering for him so he doesn’t come across looking like a baby.

Maybe they knew it was going to cost him the race win so they wanted to make sure they had their shite right.
Or maybe it was just the wording the low level F1 PR social media goomba chose to go with that picture and you are reading way too much into it.
In the post race interview Lewis said he went to see the camera angles they used to determine the infraction and to see for himself.
