Former NFL GM: Bryce Young would be a generational prospect if he was a few inches taller

Former GM Rick Spielman told us if Bryce Young was 6'2, 210-220 he'd be seen as generational - his tape is that good.

I think that's true.

He's notably better than both Tua and Mac Jones from the same offense with less help.

He's just worryingly small.

This type of shite it dumb.

Payton would be on another planet of GOAT if he could just run like Josh Allen.

But he can’t..

And that’s silly to say about Bryce anyways. Doesn’t seem all that accurate to me.

The term “generational talent” has lost meaning. Doesn’t that mean the best talent in a generation? A 6’-2” Young would be a better prospect than Luck, Lawrence,Burrow, etc?

What if you made Kyler 6’-2”? Where would he be ranked? Another generational talent?

NFL front office guys slobber over measurables.

The theory is “I can teach you how to play, I can’t teach you to be 7’ tall.”

This has repeatedly bitten them in the arse chasing the likes of Kyle Boller and JaMarcus Russell while discounting Drew Brees et all who weren’t prototypical QBs.

Why does no one seem to realize you can’t be as twitchy and quick as Kyler Murray or Bryce Young AND be tall.

They are able to move their tiny limbs faster than if they were longer.

I remember when Dan McGwire was a generational talent, 1st QB taken in the draft and over Brett Favre. But hey, he was super tall.

Russell Westbrook, Derrick rose, and John wall moved their longer limbs as fast.

It's more that there are many more 5'10
ppl than 6'3 ppl. So freakishly quick people more likely to be an average height.

I see the Mina Kimes pic is causing panic.

Claims she’s rocking 4in heels in the pic. Also said she’s 5’7.

This is GMs blowing smoke pre-draft, have we all forgotten that Burrow was doomed with his small hands?

Do you really think Bryce Young is bad as a Bama fan? As a fan of 2 teams in the SEC West, I truly think Bryce is the best QB you all have had during this run with Saban.

Yeah, it seems like we've had a generational talent every two or three years since Vince Young took Texas to the 2005 national championship. Vince Young, Tim Tebow, Cam Newton, Johnny Manziel, Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow, and now Bryce Young.

A "generational" talent is supposed to be a once-in-a-generation kind of player. We've had seven or so in the last 17-18 years. Knowing the odds we'll probably have another in 2023 or 2024 or both.

Then he is generational. Never forget Doug Flutie. He is way bigger than Flutie, and Flutie balled the frick out.

Were people outside LSU fans calling Burrow generational? He was the consensus #1 pick but I feel like there were definitely some scouts that had doubts about him in the NFL

Go draft Anthony Richardson then

Drew Brees and Russell Wilson (Seahawks) say hello

These draft gurus are dumb fricks, we could write pages and pages of “physical freaks” who did jack diddly shite in the NFL

Not true, Andrew Luck, then Lawrence were the only ones declared generational from reputable talking heads.

He is a little guy compared to the guys in the league. He could probably carry 210lbs tops and he's short.
