ESPN should do a 30/30 on this play. They could call it, "The Greatest Play That Never Was".

He has claimed the NFL made Houston take Mario Williams so the Saints could draft Reggie Bush, because NOLA needed the boost. Stuff like that.

Absolutely! Benson wanted to move to San Antonio and Paul Tagliaboe had a meeting in BTR with Benson and they said the Saints were staying.

Then...the Heisman Trophy winner fell into the Saints lap and they have sold out the Dome ever since. Going to a NFC Championship that year and eventually winning a Super Bowl.

The irony of Green Bay playing the Steelers at Cowboy stadium I should over look as well.

Indy covering last night was because the NFL is on the up and up.

FYI--The laws are set up to protect the multi-billion dollar league...I posted on that as well. The NFL used WWE's argument in COURT!

After watching that video there was obvious holding. Why are all the talking heads saying there wasn't? That wasn't too hard to spot.

It was a grab. If they nit picked and called every "holding" call like that...go back and look at what they don't call.

Did he grab him? YES. Was it "holding"? No.

When "refs" miss obvious calls..people say..."oh they just missed it."

But on that "grab"...he saw it from 50 yards down field...Why does that happen? Because they have an agenda. PERIOD!

The flag was on the ground before Knox even caught the ball. The holding was when the gunner was running down the field before/while the ball was being punted.

Learn a little about football before you sit there and post BS like this. (not you Tactical 1)

I almost threw up when I saw Penn Wagers doing the game Saturday night, and going under the replay headset made it worse.

why exactly did the NFL want Green Bay to cover and not Chicago?

Yeah, picking Mario over Reggie was a terrible football decision.

A lot of people said the Texans made the right call back then.

I'll admit I was wrong, I thought Reggie's quickness would translate well to the NFL. Then again, he should have been a slot WR.

was Drew Brees blowing out his shoulder part of the rigging?

Green Bay blowing out Atlanta was a complete fluke. Cutler was in on it too

Here's the really stupid part in this morons argument, why wouldn't the Texans just take Vince Young instead? He was the guy most fans wanted, he was the guy most of the media in houston wanted, he is from Houston, he just lead the University of Texas to the National title? But no, the NFL "forces" the Texans to take Mario Williams, who most had never heard of to benefit the Saints.

The only guy the Texans could have taken that they could sell to everyone over VY was Bush. But instead they take Mario Williams, which infuriates everyone, the fans, the media, the Texans become a national laughing stock. Al Michaels made fun of them during a Saints-Cowboys game that year. Of course since the Texans where making money, that's some how OK. Typical conspiracy nut, they talk out of both sides of their mouth's, on the on hand they fix games to get a higher rating in the SB, as if a 44 gets more money than a 43, but its OK that the Texans lost potential revenue.
