What exactly about Lebron makes you think he doesn’t like to read?

He loves to talk as if whatever he says is some deep pontification.
Problem is that the content of what he says is lacking to say the least.
Hence all the jokes about a guy who barely made it through HS because he was an athlete calling out a guy with an advanced degree from MIT for being “uneducated” on China.
This is effectively cosplay for the press of him being a well read bookworm giving off the image he is reading rather than actually reading. Christ, as pointed out in the other thread, he is on the first page of every goddamn book they have pictures of him reading. If it weren’t staged as hell, there should occasionally be ones of him in the middle or end of a book.

This is how I imagine Lebron reading.

He’s never shown past the 3% completion mark of any book ever

Trigger bait. What it means is that you shouldn’t confuse money and fame acquired through hard work and supreme athletic ability with intelligence and depth. It’s ok, not all of us can be highly intelligent or athletic.

The fact he likely has a middle school or lower education, and his general ignorance shown when trying to talk about adult issues.
All the power in the world to him for taking his god given talents and maximizing his ability through had physical work, but a scholar he is not.

The first pages for a photo OP?
All of the pics he takes with books, he’s on the first few pages... I guess he conveniently only takes pics when he starts a book

I see what you’re trying to do here. Ain’t gonna work. LeBron speaks like he’s the smartest man in the room but in reality he has a basic understanding of few things outside of basketball.

Billionaire Warren Buffett believes LeBron James has more than a high basketball IQ. Speaking to USA Today's Josh Peter on Tuesday, the Berkshire Hathaway CEO said he believes James has strong business acumen. “People really do have minds that function better than other people’s in certain areas that you can’t give a test for," Buffett said. "And LeBron, in addition to a lot of other talents, he has a money mind. And he gets stuff." Buffett added James' investment savvy shows he knows how to "separate out the cream from the crap."
Buffett noticed that the young athlete's savvy when they first met just more than 10 years ago. "He talked smarter about business deals than plenty of MBAs I've met," Buffett said. "he was 21 then… He knew a lot more than I did when I was 21." Buffett also said James held his own at an investment conference, one that drew CEOs from Fortune 500 companies. "He's just a smart guy," said Buffett in 2014, "He doesn't miss anything."
What do you mean Buffett he didn’t even take anthropology 101 and geography 102 !!!!

How much of LeBron’s net worth is attributable to his business savvy v. his god given ability to shoot a basketball?
