Nothing but a money grab.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is facing significant financial strain in early 2026, including lawsuits for unpaid debt, tax issues, and the sale of assets like his private jet and homes. Despite denying "broke" rumors, reports indicate he owes millions for luxury items, faces foreclosure on properties, and is seeking to settle debts.
So, Netflix got a fight on their platform probably at Foreclosure prices.

The novelty fights are fun in a freak show type of way. This is just two old boxers and I have no interest in watching.

There’s no way people are going to fall for this again right?

I hope not. The first fight was terrible.

Mayweather might be the least exciting boxing star in the history of the sport.
I'll see your Mayweather and raise you Wladimir Klitschko. I watched some of his fights when Emanuel Stewart was his trainer and he'd be in the corner pleading with Klitschko to fight, hit the guy and make it a short night.
Then he'd do his jab, jab, hug, broken up by the ref and repeat-----round after round.

Would be pretty hilarious if Money blows his undefeated record but the judges probably won’t let that happen.

That first fight between those two is one of the main reasons I will never watch Mayweather again.
More boring than watching paint dry.

Yeah, it was just him running away from Pacquiao and sprinkling in enough jabs to win. Truly awful boxing.

Love of money is the root of all evil. These guys just can't let it go.

Winner fights Jake Paul in 2027.

Why would Manny be broke considering his role in politics in Manila? With how much money he made along with his other endeavors I just don’t see how.

I hope not. The first fight was terrible.

Manny if known to be incredibly generous with his money. I'd be willing to bet he's not broke, but he's probably not set for the rest of his life like he should be with all the money he's made over the years.
The good thing is, living in the Philippines is relatively cheap when compared to a lot of other countries, so there's that.

I bet both of these guys still spend money like they did 10 years ago. Old habits die hard.

I miss the days of Arturo Gatti fights. RIP.
