So what's to stop Kraft from suing the heck out of this guy, especially if it's deemed inadmissible?

For all the idiots saying variations of stupid games / stupid prizes, this is literally the government saying screw our own rules protecting private citizens, we can and will do what we want.

Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg’s office said in court papers it is obligated under Florida law to provide the video to the public and the media now and cannot wait for a judge to decide whether it should be kept under seal while Lei Wang is prosecuted as the alleged manager of the Orchids of Asia Spa in Jupiter, Fla.

Seems like the Florida government is following their own rules to me. What are you talking about?

Or does this not apply to this situation for some particular reason?

Said like a true moral nanny. Dude got a handjob in a consensual transaction that benefitted both parties. By the way, it is estimated that the average person breaks the law every day. Be careful what you ask for when you expand police and prosecutorial power indefinitely. Particularly when you give them video cameras and send them out to destroy reputations.

"There's no way to rule innocent men.
The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals.
Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them.
One declares so many things to be a crime
that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws."

Did the police not pull this entire operation in the name of human trafficking?

Yes. They were quick to announce that there was human trafficking going on. And completely embarrassed themselves when it turned out to be absolutely false.

Judge temporarily blocks release of Robert Kraft video in prostitution case - Updated 7:13 PM ET, Wed April 17, 2019

quote:

An April 29 hearing is scheduled before Circuit Judge Joseph Marx, who issued the temporary protective order, according to Edmondson. The video will not be released before then, he said.

If you're gonna post something, you should make sure it's still valid.

Do we really think Kraft took the time to make sure this woman wasnt there as a result of human trafficking?

Why or how should Kraft have known this?

Please don't.

Ifpeople are going to use the defense of there is no evidence of sex trafficking to defend Kraft, I think it's relevant.

I’m morbidly curious about the size of Kraft’s krank.

This doesn’t even make sense. It’s the judge’s call to enforce laws and if there is a pending hearing on whether the videos are going to be sealed, I don’t see how an attorney can think he has the authority to usurp the authority of the Court. If he releases them while the motion is pending, I don’t think a judge is going to be particularly pleased and I’d imagine said attorney may be getting a friendly call from the local ethics board.

ETA: upon reading further, looks like a temporary injunction was put in place, which was pretty predictable. Looks to me prosecutor is just trying to put on a show rather than doing his job

Judge just ruled that the video WILL be released once the legal proceedings are resolved.
