I really think ND will have an itchy trigger finger because I think this is one of the few college jobs Chip would actually be interested in, being a North east guy.

Has Notre Dame ever fired a coach mid-season? I thought it was a policy to wait until after the regular season was complete.

Is Dantonio really on the hot seat? They had one bad year.

Absolutely not. They were in the freaking CFB playoff two years ago.

He was laughing at the nation Malzahn is gone mid-season.

Which is a funny notion

He said 4 sec coaches will be canned midseason. Ridiculous.

Auburn wouldn't pull the trigger on Gus until after the season.

Butch would be my guess but can they afford to fire him?

Why not? Tennesee was the most profitable team in the SEC last season. Time to use that cash

means nothing as far as the funds they have leftover after the bills are paid.

They're still struggling financially.

Whoever loses week 1 between Sumlin and Mora are going to be hanging by a thread.

Another loss or 2 before week 5 could be enough

I believe the loser of the Arkansas/Texas A&M in week 4, could be trouble, especially if either already has a lost (TCU/UCLA). Both would still have Bama and Auburn on the schedule in the following few weeks.

But most of said profits went back to the University, I live in the belly of the beast, I know.

They're struggling financially.

Jim Mora (UCLA): 9/1

State School - rarely fire within 5 years albeit for malfeasance (Neuheisel) or total bad break...Dorrell (started coaching at UCLA during USC's amazing run from 2002-2008).

Bob Toldeo sucked and he lasted 7 years.

No way UCLA fires Mora...who are they going to get?

Mora and Graham are grade A douche bags. No one wants to put up with their shite once the wins quit coming.
