I agree with this

Around 10 secs he gets in between the Michigan players and starts barking at Howard and the players, you can see him say something like “what’s the problem ?” With a smile

If anyone from wisky gets disciplined he’ll probably be the sacrificial lamb. Howard still can’t do that tho

Gard should not have called time out.

Howard shouldn’t have been pressing with the game over and backups in for Wisconsin.

And if you are going to press because you’re coaching your kids until the end, then the same courtesy applies to the Wisconsin coach and his kids.

Gard should have put the starters back in after the TO.

Kevin Warren, the incompetent hack of a commissioner will absolutely “both sides” this. I see Gard and Krabbenhoft getting a 1 gamer. I disagree with it, but it’s Kevin Warren.

Depends on what Howard was yelling at this point. If he is telling gard he will kick his arse then krabbenhoft did what he should do and protect his hc.

This has to be a termination over a suspension.

He was also completely unapologetic about it post game, and this isn’t the first time he’s completely lost control of himself.

I’m not sure how a university AD can justify keeping someone like that

The last fight this big was 2004 at The Palace. Not surprised the next fight also included a team from Detroit's metro's metro.

People who think he is going to get treated like a player are nuts

I just had to run and get some dog food and heard the national CBS radio syndicated show say that Juwan "is Michigan ROYALTY." And come to think of it, it's true. Hilarious, but true nonetheless.

Will definitely be interested in which way the university goes. Although the B1G may make that decision for them.

In all seriousness shouldn’t he be facing criminal charges? It’s inconceivable that you could assault someone while you’re on the clock and not lose your job.

Doesn't say much but the B1G has already put out a statement and only Howard is named.

quote:

The Big Ten Conference is aware of a physical altercation involving Michigan Head Coach Juwan Howard at the conclusion of the Michigan Wolverines and Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball game. The conference is in contact with both member institutions and is currently assessing the incident. The conference will provide more information and will take swift and appropriate disciplinary action when it completes its review.

The opposing coach should just retreat to the locker room because Juwan Howard might attack him because thats just 'how he is'.

Your rationale for this incident is awesome

Remember, UK fans are still mad about Wisconsin ending their 40-0 season. Already admitted to it on the Rant.

That's an interesting, and almost certainly inaccurate, take on this situation.
