I didn't even notice the crickets because I'm watching this game outside here and there are crickets chirping all over the place. Thought that was real, not TV, maybe some of both.

The teams walking out of the cornfield, especially with the old school Sox jerseys... that was awesome.

The funny part is that the Yankees didn't need to put on throwbacks. Their uniforms have not changed.

ive been to the actual field. 20 years ago at least you could just go there and play. played on the field, walked out from the corn, whole nine yards

I kind of want to try it.

I wish MLB would play a few more games a year at smaller local venues like this. For the folks who can’t or won’t travel hours to go watch, but love baseball.

Maybe they implement a rule where each franchise has to play a 3 or 4 game series at their AAA or AA affiliate stadium

It is so great to see a modern day Major League Baseball home run go into a cornfield.

Made my wife watch bull Durham a couple years back and she was a huge fan even though she has never been big into baseball. Would love to see them repeat this theme there, or at the cape like some of the other posters have referenced.

Think it’s a great idea. Braves have a team in MS, make a weekend of it and have a great time. Players would probably enjoy it too.

Please do. A lot of people like to talk smack about the state of Iowa, it really is a good place to visit and kind of get out of the big city rat race. It's even better to live here.

I bet it was a treat to the players to leave the city and travel by bus from the Dubuque airport through the rolling hills of NE Iowa to the site.

I imagine that Amy Madigan broad aged like a banana.

She was shot when the movie first came out.
