What is the top payment made for one fighter in one big time main event? What range is that?
There are reports Brock's pay for UFC 100 was $1.5-2M.

So we all know the deal with M-1 and what they are saying about co-promotion. I'm not here to say who's right and wrong in this deal, but I can tell you some of the specifics that were offered to Fedor.....
- The UFC offered Fedor a 6 fight, 30 million dollar contract. That's 5 mil a fight
- The UFC offered Fedor an immediate title shot
- Lesnar/Fedor would be the biggest PPV in MMA history (we assume), and the UFC offered M-1 Global a cut of the PPV on top of Fedor's purse.
- Fedor was free to wear as many M-1 logoed items as he wished.
- The UFC also relented on allowing Fedor to compete in combat sambo.
Apparently, for good or bad, M-1 refuses to sign a deal unless the UFC agrees to co-promote.
I can tell you right now, the boys at ZUFFA will never, EVER agree to that. So if M-1 doesnt relent on that item alone, the Fedor to UFC talks are dead. Look for Team Emelianenko to turn to Strikeforce next. With co-promotions already in the books with Affliction, that shouldnt be a stopping point.
I will have more comprehensive coverage on my show tonight at 9pm PST. You can stream live at Northern California's Sports Station KHTK - Homepage and call toll free at 1-800-920-1140. Twitter updates to the minute at twitter.com/carmichaeldave

i dont know what trance this jew dude has Fedor under but frick. I love how earlier today they got defensive about how the UFC said they never met with fedor face to face so he probably has no idea what they really offered when that really is probably 100% true. His legacy is gonna take a huge hit if he goes to strikeforce then rides out his career between Japan and 1 shot failure U.S. organizations.

he's like Rasputin.
i am really starting to wonder if fedor is mildly retarded, or Rasputin has something he is holding over Fedor's head.

Has anyone in the history of sports rode the coat tails of an athlete like Fedor's management is trying to do here? There isn't anyone in MMA close to getting a deal like that. If UFC thinks he doesn't know the details then they should make sure that EVERYONE knows them so they get back to FEDOR somehow.

Jesus christ. What the frick is M-1 going to gain by co-promotions? After Fedor's fights, their promotion isn't going to take off like they're expecting. Idiots.
Both of these guys are ruhtards. Fedor and this frickface that is negotiating. They're the epitome of stubborn and obviously not very bright.

Agreed, that is a more than fair deal, better than I thought Dana and Co. would ever offer. I can see why Dana called them crazy russians. It's too bad Fedor is just going along with his management. Maybe he has no clue and is happy as long as they keep feeding him babies.

+1
They have zero excuses left in the bag now. Ridiculous.

Strikeforce is very conservatively run and doesn't have the money Zuffa has. They are also here for the long run and won't allow one event/athlete to bankrupt them. They won't be able to offer anywhere near that.
I hope to the memory of Peej's daughter that M-1 trys to put on a big show in the US featuring Fedor on there own. Then they might appreciate what they are being offered.

Wow is all I can say. Unbelievably good deal offered by the UFC. It has concessions all over and I am ready to say the UFC did their best this time. It still looks like the co-promotion will kill it. I do not blame the UFC one bit for refusing the co-promotion. They are the founders of the sport and have been here since 1993. Their is no reason for them to help a competitor get brand recognition as basically an equal in the biggest MMA fight ever. Not after all the money they lost and the struggle they went through for many years to finally become profitable.
I am aggravated with Fedor's camp now.

The dumbest thing in all of this is M1 not realizing that if they took that deal they STILL get more publicity and money then co-promoting a deal with Dream or Strikeforce or whatever.
