I am ready for Brock vs Fedor now. I think Fedor beats him now. A year or so from now, I am not so sure. Amazing how good Brock has gotten in a relatively short period of time.

You know, I don't even think it is that. The way he beats people is the way he would have done it years before he started training MMA. Really the only thing he has worked on is, NOT GETTING SUBBED IN 5 SECONDS. Everything else he already had IMO. The right guy will always give him trouble. I'd like to see NOG fight Brock at some point just to see if he can slap a sub on him. Obviously I wouldn't bet on it, but I would like to see the fight.

Financial reasons. I mean lets say they do it in Moscow and Fedor subs Brock in 30 seconds. You think you would ever see Fedor in UFC again? Just a lot of things that could go horridly wrong that I honestly think the Red Devil guys would love to see happen.

That is where we differ my friend.

what i mean to say is if he loses to Randy, UFC never gets that huge superfight of Lesnar vs Fedor. Fedor's star will be completely worn off for the whole affliction shirt crowd and that'll be that. So its big PPV vs Randy but risk no HUGE ppv vs Brock or just straight to the HUGE fight.

I know. I just have wanted to see it for so long and Randy getting any older doesn't appeal to me. From a UFC standpoint Brock is obviously the way to go. I'd just rather see Randy. I guess Fedor knocking off Brock and then Randy upsetting him afterward for the title would be the greatest thing in the history of MMA though.

yeah, i mean if fedor gets in now and they both win it'll pretty much be Rocky IV for the randy-fedor fight.

I honestly believe Randy has a way better chance of beating Fedor then he does Brock. Just a way better match up for him. Not saying Randy would beat him, just that I think he still has a good shot. There isn't a point in Randy's career that Brock wouldn't have done that to him IMO. In fact, Brock might have beat him without training MMA. He is just much stronger at Randy's big strengths is all.

Umm???

Are you saying the affliction shirt crowd is the hardcore MMA base? Because that is what a lot of Fedor fans are. I have been following him for many years, since 2003. I have and will never buy or wear an affliction shirt also.

you watched Pride and nobody else on earth did, you've said that 50 times already. congrats. I'm talking about the casual fan that just knows of him as this mythical greatest that they've only seen youtube clips of. They aren't gonna say oh well he lost to Randy but he did beat Noguira twice so frick it, i'll buy that next Fedor ppv anyway.

Don't see Randy getting armbarred and he would clinch Fedor for sure to neutralize the stand up. I think it is a tough match up for Fedor.

or randy could get brushed by the tip of a glove with one punch and go unconcious as he has a tendency to do these days

Who has done this to him other then the 300 pound monster you earlier described, in the last few years? Again, I would favor Fedor over Randy I just think that is a close fight and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he pulled it off.

That is the funniest thing, Fedor is probably digging his own grave by letting Brock sharpen his skills with additional fights.

After one more cluster-f**k with a poorly arranged event pissed off Fedor, he'll pressure his reps to get the UFC deal done regardless of cross-promotion.

3 of his last 6 fights, 2 of his last 4 have been one punch lights out KOs. Once the first Chuck KO popped his KO cherry his chin has been horrible.

Liddell had his number and it has been quite a while since he fought Liddell. The only other guy since then has been Brock no? I think Brock could KO pretty much anyone if he hits them right.

He showed improvement in this last win over Mir. He was patient and waited for the right moment to pound him out as opposed to going full steam ahead from the first bell. This is what he is learning that will also improve his sub defense because he is more under control.

A few questions?

I feel the UFC and MMA area at a crossroads sort of. They want to be big time like boxing WAS and can be again. The people who seem to be getting stiffed are the fighters.

What is the top payment made for one fighter in one big time main event? What range is that?

How old is Fedor? I worry that he runs the risk of sitting trying to work out a deal, and pissing away 2-3 years of his prime?
