NDSU really needs to move up already. They've got NOTHING left to prove at the FCS level and they've lost 5 games in the last 7 seasons.

I do not like that site at all. But the STATS poll is "official" as it the one used forever and has more representation.

The ESPN poll is worthless and not taken seriously. I wished that the playoff committee would start giving rankings around week 4, maybe just the top 4 or 8 seeds. So we can see how the field would get built.

Yeah that is brutal. If Chattanooga isn't careful, they could lose all five of those games. The Citadel gets Clemson at the end and Wofford gets South Carolina at the end. Between Chattanooga, Wofford, Citadel, and Samford...the SOCON will be interesting to watch this year.

I do like the SLC thread, but that's all I'll read unless something really stands out.

It's Wednesday of the first full weekend of games, does that mean its time for the weekly FCS thread?!

Tomorrow I will get some articles from around the country out. Also will do the predictions for the Thursday games. If you guys can or want, feel free to link any tidbits also.

The Richmond Sam St game has been rescheduled for Friday at Baylor. Sad part is there will be more people at that game than a normal Baylor game.

The Matchup: No. 7 Richmond (10-4 last season) at No. 3 Sam Houston State (12-1)

Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET at Baylor's McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas

Television: ESPN3

Prediction: Sam Houston has never had a season-opening win over a ranked opponent. Following a difficult week, the Bearkats unite for a 35-31 victory. I somewhat like Richmond to win, just too much going on for Sam but would love to see Sam win.
