FBS football should be 80 teams

8 conferences of 10 schools each
SEC
SWC
Big 10
Big 8 ( plus 2)
ACC
Big East
Pac 10
Conference USA. made up of non power teams such as Boise St, San Diego St etc
the rest should drop to FCS.
no championship games
12 team playoff, conference champs with auto bids plus 4 at large.
Non- conf play would be 3 games. 2 against the closest conference to each school and rotate the 3rd against a distant conference.

64 feels better. FBS A and B. Every 2 years the bottom teams (by record) in each conference are relegated to B as long as any existing B team can meet the financial requirements to be in A. Keeps it competitive across the leagues.

Arkansas would do a lot better in CUSA with the other non power teams.
