Reggie Jackson. My favorite Yankee ever. Loved how cocky he was... The 3 HR on 3 pitches WS game will probably never be topped for me (although Boone's HR comes close)

Jose Cruz (Sr.).

I met him many times and he was always gracious and genuinely interested in talking with the fans.

He was never a super star, but he played hard every single day and was a superb athlete.

Just a very egotistical and selfish human being.

Yet, he should be in the HOF because he was a hell of a base ball player.

I also liked early 90's Braves (esp. Smoltz and Lemke) and Ken Griffey Jr.
