So is that the consensus?

Prince and Rolling Stones had great music and may have been good for some of the older folks, but that Bruno Mars show a couple years ago was one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows. Very entertaining.

Bruno is the GD man. If you think otherwise you should brush your teeth with a chainsaw.

I love when people trash the halftime show, and then suggest 3 even more truly awful bands that should have been there.

Not if these guys have anything to say about it

For those clamoring for older acts, who's going to pay for them? The NFL charges the performers, not the other way around. I doubt Led Zeppelin is going to drop X million so they can perform at the Super Bowl.

watching really old white guys who can't dance play 50 year old songs is a terrible idea

With all due respect, no one outside of 35-62 year old Caucasians want to see a old, Classic Rock Band do a halftime time show. When doing this, you have to attract all demographics and musical taste, that's why you see so many pop acts do it. The reason they went the Springstein, The Who route a couple years ago was because of the Janet incident. That eventually got backlash from fans

But all that matters is how many people watch. And they would definitely beat all recent performers for viewers turning in to see it.
Bruno and Katy Perry are both way bigger than Led Zeppelin in 2014/2015.

Timberlake would be the biggest draw imo. Especially with the history. No way he makes that mistake again though.

I want Prince in a battle with Bruno!
More Prince is always the answer.
