The #MLSisBack Orlando bubble is no more. Today @MLS jumps out of the frying pan and into the fire as the regular season resumes in-market. #DALvNSH will kick off in Frisco, TX at Toyota Stadium with reduced crowd (5110 fan limit), face masks and socially distanced seating.

yes... soccer board... I know

but this is quite a thing that fans are being allowed in... a step in a positive direction from some sports league

I like this a lot. Let them guinea pig it out and see how it pans out. If no significant spread it’ll give other leagues something to point to to do the same.

USL has allowed fans since they started back, but I think 15% of the scheduled games (14 of 94) since the restart have had to be postponed and rescheduled due to positive COVID tests.

credit where it is due - even to the uber woke MLS who bends over backwards to allow pro-ANTIFA signage in the stands at Seattle and PDX games.

Will never support this league again but positive step for freedom here.

I can't imagine how odd it was for the Orlando team to be quarantined in a hotel for 7 weeks in their own home town. To know your house/family/bed is just down the road and you can't go. At least the teams from the West Coast could treat it as a very extended road trip

I will continue to do so.

You keep on doing exactly what Fauci and CNN tells you to do.

I would bet everything I own that there is absolutely no more fearful a demographic of this thing than guys in their 60s from the North East. We’ll come into their rooms to work with them in the hospital and it’s like they recoil in fear upon seeing another human.

MLS is Back went off nearly perfectly outside of Dallas and Nashville in week 1. It's a perfect example of the bubble working. MLS is the shining example for all sports to follow this season.

Outdoor activity is better for physical and mental health, so I'm betting Walt will win.
