Damn that's cold, but I don't blame them he isn't worth $6.9 million anymore. Especially with what else they have in the backfield

No surprise. Way too many carries on that body already & the wall was hit hard last year with an average drop down to 3.6.

Think he'll go that late in the draft?

II think hes a 2nd round pick, maybe even lower if they can swing it that way. But.ATL seems to be the most viable option. Also with his hamstring tear, missing the combine/pro dayday might help him out rathet than him showing up and being below expectations.

So they're dumping a beat up back for an injury prone back?

The Falcons already have their younger, cheaper version of Reggie in Jacquizz. They need a bigger back to platoon with him

my guess is they'll try and get a bigger back late in the draft or even FA

Eddie Lacy might have been a first round pick with a good showing at the combine, but he's going to miss the combine due to a hamstring injury.

I'd rather see Lacy drafted to the 49ers while Ingram gets traded to the Falcons.

Definitely agree (before the injury). Im just saying maybe it would be.in his best interest to miss pro day as well seeing that the injury may affect his performance. I just dont.see where he fits in the first round, although his talent is first round

Now that would be an amazing day for the Saints. Not only do you get rid of a horrible first round pick, you dump him on your division rival.

Who then goes onto have a good career because he'll finally be used right.
