Ask any player or former player if their team would ever tank for draft picks and they might hit you.
That's not an option. You try to win every game. The falcons will be.

After they ruined Tony G's entire final season you'd think they'd try to send him out with a win.

no matter what happens this Sunday, I seriously hope the Falcons are not able to pick Clowney.

I hope the Falcons ignore the offensive line, too!

The thing is the Falcons are a good team that has had a shite year (which I have enjoyed) They seem to be playing with a little edge against the playoff teams.
Unlike like the teams ahead of them in the draft the Falcons have legit players in a lot of key positions. So they can do a lot with their pick
Unlike the NBA, you can get great picks through out the draft. Big names in college do not always mean a big name in the NFL.

but the Panthers have won the last 2 and will make it 3 this weekend
the last time the falcons won, it took a lucky arse hail mary from their 1 yard line to do it. thankfully, nakamura is no longer on the defense to blow that type of coverage

My new roommate is a Panthers fan and more obnoxious than most people here for the Saints. Want a win just to screw up his playoff chances.
But if we lose I'll get over it quickly

This x 1000000
These guys are professionals. If there is a game left on their schedule, they want to win. These guys put in a ton of hours every week preparing for these games. They want to go out with a win over a playoff team in front of their home fans.
Hello... you play to win the game.
