He was great at Toro Rosso but hasn't shown pace in the Red Bull yet. If he keeps it up I imagine they will Kyvat him.

What if Kyvat ends up back in a Red Bull car, teammates to the guy that took his place.

He may be in by Russia. Give Putin a reason to sway the race in RB favor.

So much WTF right now with teams. Going to be fun to watch it shake out over the next couple months.

Heartbreaking for LeClerc. He was running a perfect race.

Great race for Lando. That was an exciting race, shame Ferrari crapped the bed to give it to the Mercs.

Really like Leclerc, he’s a talented driver, things will turn his way soon

Team Alfa: “How is the front wing??”

Kimi: “I don’t know. You have to tell me.”

We're going to miss Kimi when he's gone. My favorite melt of his was when they were pushing his car to the pit exit for a restart after a red flag and he didn't have his steering wheel. He was losing his mind on the radio asking who had his steering wheel.

ESPN reporting Bahrain race had 2nd highest US cable viewership for an F1 race ever, coming on the heels of 277 percent increase in viewership of Aussie GP year on year

If every race can be like Bahrain I think viewership could grow. Need a couple of wet races to pull people in as well.

The new aero seems to have made racing more interesting the first part of the year. Hopefully merc and ferrari participate in Season 2 so those teams attract an audience that don't get thrown off with middle of the field action.

I wish there were more races that started around that same time. 11 AM Eastern is about as good as we get for most of the season. It's hard for F1 to gain any traction in the US when everybody is asleep.

China - 2 AM Eastern
Baku - 8 AM
Spain - 9 AM
Monaco - 9 AM

I guess they have to think about their core fans first but if they could move some races back a couple of hours for US audiences, they might see some more success here.

Brazil
USGP
Mexico
Canada

Monaco is perfect timing for the Indy 500 after.

Are all prime time.

I would rather wake up and watch the euro races, but I do get that thet don't build fans at those times.

Not to mention all the racers being big on social media have a way of ruining races....and espn with their spoilers listed right next to the race replays.

You have to learn how to unfocus your eyes or look to the side just enough that you don’t spoil the results but can still get to the replay

I'm the same way. I actually prefer to DVR the races and watch them while I eat breakfast. But I understand that a lot of people don't.

That's what I do. It's not hard to stay off of motorsports.com until after you've seen the race.

Love to see a lot of participation in this thread.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get into it here because I haven't really been able to catch anything live so I only have pop in here long after.

Heartbreaker for Charles.

We started one last year but it didn't get a lot of attention. I guess the Netflix series brought some more interest to the sport for Americans this year. Hopefully they stick around.

Leclerc is going to be a stud. He's going to win some drivers championships for Ferrari before it's all said and done. He's what we were hoping Verstappen would be. Lando Norris is showing lots of potential too.
