reached top 10 in MVP twice.

one. He was 12th in 2012-2013 with 1 point. Conley got 1 point the very next season. Gasol got 3 points (finished in 8th) the season after that. I'm a Grizz fan, and I can tell you that the team was much more screwed when Conley was out than when Gasol was. Gasol missed a bunch of games a couple of those seasons and it didn't really affect the team. Conley went out in early March of 2015-2016 and the Grizz finished that season 5-16 without him and were swept in the playoffs.

As an old-time Nuggets fan I gotta go with Alex English under the OPs rules

Alex English scored more points in the 80s than any other player.

I bet you could win some bar bets with that "nugget" of trivia.

I think Adrian Dantley was second.

Now that's a fun and interesting argument for Clyde vs. Dame for the Best Blazer.

I’d give the edge to Clyde right now, but it’s close. Dame can eventually surpass him if stays in Portland a few more years.

Clyde has longevity, two finals appearances, and a member of the 92 Dream Team while with the Blazers. Drexler was also a very good defensive player.

Dan Issel, Alex English, Carmelo Anthony, Fat Lever, Dikembe Mutumbo

Melo and Mutumbo are likely the most recognizable, but certainly not the best.

Doug Moe was Mike D'Antoni 20 years before Mike D'Antoni.

Is he the best player to ever play for Miami? Debatable. I have Shaq over him.

But did he accumulate the most X stat as a player?

What’s your criteria?
