I wish Tiger Woods would enter a golf tournament or the Red Sox would go on another losing streak so that they'd have something else to talk about and I can watch the sports news again.

This is what happens when they need something to analyze 24 hours each day. Sportscenter is nearly unwatchable now. With the entire world of sports, they will spend 20 of the first 30 minutes of the show on the same topic (see: Linsanity).
It's truly a sad testament to that show when I can get a better rundown on what's going on in the entire sports world in 30 minutes of PTI than I can in an hour of Sportscenter

I think one of the reasons I've drifted to more obscure sports is so I don't have to watch SportsCenter's endless hype. This weekend, I watched college baseball, the lacrosse tournament, hockey, and yeah, a little NBA. According to SportsCenter, my sports weekend didn't exist.

Mike & Mike & Sportscenter is why I have switched over to Dan Patrick's show. He picks a hot subject, covers it reasonably & then moves on.Plus he has those hot SI Swimsuit covers on the wall in plain viewing site. Just beware of ESPN's coverage of USC late summer/fall. Owned by ABC, ABC covers the Rose Bowl= hrs and hrs of USC morning noon & nite.
