This shouldn't be news to any of us

SC has a lot coming back, and had a very good recruiting class with at least one immediate impact player in Agholor.

Should be a great season, but there's a shitload of pressure on a team that starts #1, and LA is a media fishbowl.

SC is the best team going into next season IMO. I think the logic they used was idiotic, but they're deserving IMO.

Top 8 yes.....not #1

That is some pretty amazing logic. Of course, this is the same people that had this gem: In speaking about this past LSU recruiting class, "But surprisingly, LSU was shut out of Texas for the first time in the six years we've kept score"
The funny thing is, if you click on LSU's recruiting class that is on their freaking website, you will see that not only did LSU sign kids from Texas, they signed 3! Just really stupid if you ask me about regarding anything ESPN says with any sort of respect. They honestly only care about one thing, Ratings! That is it.

Maybe they can also bring Joe McKnight back to get those 3 elusive Heisman trophies he was supposed to win

"Pac 12 South Champions"

Just because you have a glove, it does not mean you get a trophy.

Oklahoma was #1 in 2011. Alabama was #1 in 2010. Florida was #1 in 2009. How'd they end up? Exactly

My thoughts exactly. Let USC get all the off season headaches.

If you have a glove and you punch ucla in the nose with it to the tune of 50-0, you have proven it on the field.

The avatar stands, sir. Good day.

If USC has three freshmen OLinemen, then even if they win the pac 10, they'll get it handed to them by whatever SEC team they play.

I doubt most people give a hoot about pre season predictions. USC will have an excellent team next year and so will LSU, Okla, Ala, and all the other regulars, and to get to the bcs championship a combination of great play and luck will be required. Good luck toall.

Wow. What a joke of a schedule that is.

LOL. Pencil them in now. There are literally 20 teams in the NCAA that could run that gauntlet.

Remember, all USC has to do is finish third or better in their conference and they are in.

If I were a USC fan, I'd buy my ticket to Miami today.

Are you saying USC can finish behind Oregon and Stanford and still get into the BCS Championship game?

I don't see that happening.

So we are supposed to believe that despite all their scholarship reductions over the past 2 years USC was just as talented and good as LSU and Alabama?

Complete BS.

So LSU falls to number 3 mainly because of this recruiting season? Makes sense when you look at who 1 and 2 are. ESPN loves both of these teams. I really don't see how either could be ahead of LSU because of what is coming back for the Tigers. Should be better than this past year.

'LSU n tex st, ida , towson , and a few weak sec teams. And let us not forget the cupcakes on Texas sch. Wyo, N.M and ole miss. It all boils down to opinions, and like a holes we all have them.
