LSU deserves a break after last year.

In 2012 LSU plays:

-the same Washington team that you touted on SC's schedule
-South Carolina who would be a 10 win lock if not for their ridiculous schedule
-Florida, who had a great recruiting class, so using ESPN logic, they must be a preseason top 10
-Arkansas, a top 5 team from last year returning much of their lineup
-Alabama, you may have heard of them
-and the SEC championship game if you get to it

I'm not saying that LSU's schedule the toughest in the nation, but it's tougher than USC's.

Yeah, it's all about the ESPN love. Certainly nothing to do with USC finishing in the top 5 last year and returning 18 starters, including Barkley, Woods, Lee from a team that was one fumble away against a BCS bowl team from an 11-1 season. Certainly can't also be because they got much stronger as the season wore on with half of their starters being underclassmen.

Yes, the hype is back. But like it or not, it's deserved. We'll see what happens.
