Kanell brings nothing to the table. I don't know what ESPN saw there.

Guys like Trey Wingo were smart to bolt for NFL Network years ago.
Not sure if you've heard this or not, Wingo is still at ESPN

How about giving up the Leftist agenda?

I haven't been keeping up, what's the overall strategy behind the layoffs? Is it mostly cost savings, or part of a much bigger programming restructure?
I can't see these layoffs doing jack to help their bottom line, so surely they have plans to go back to being an actual sports network, right?

Are they only laying off staff or are some higher ups going as well?

trimming fat....they definitely probably needed to cut back on web content no one was reading.

Jane McManus is out. She was terrible.

Only radio/show I made sure to tune into at 12 everyday. Guess that's what happens when you don't give in to the liberal media.

A little bit of both. Deitsch (sp) went into detail a mock ESPN schedule that we'll see beginning in the summer
5-7- SportsCenter LA rerun
7-9- Greenberg show
9-11- First Take
11-1- a Bomani and Pablo Torre show
Then you would have the regular afternoon lineup
(NFL LIVE, Highly Questionable, ATH, PTI, SC: 6)
Live sporting event
Then finally SVP

Todd McShay/Kanell would be an amazing Barstool podcast
