I used my parents Cox login for the ESPN app on my Roku and am good to go. If you have any family/friends willing to do the same temporarily, hit em up!

This is the route to take if you have access. Logged in espn app with my MIL’s directv account and good to go

Maybe delete the app and reinstall it?

ETA: Or try using a different browser if you’re trying to login to Cox on a computer/mobile device. Clear cookies etc. all kinds of shite you can try if you have the energy.

Guessing this could go one for several more weeks. Neither side seems to be in a hurry.

Agree…fricken bullshite that it isn’t an automatic deduct.

This is the last straw…I was patient, but YT is gone.

That isn't the email I got from YTTV

part of it:

quote:

We've been working in good faith to negotiate a deal with Disney that pays them fairly for their content and returns their programming to YouTube TV. We know it’s been disappointing to lose Disney content, and we want you to know we deeply appreciate your patience. In light of the disruption, we’re partnering with your billing provider to issue you a $20 credit. No action is needed to redeem this credit.

Honestly, for me at this point...ill just keep getting credits. I don't really care to watch any more LSU football and I am totally fine with watching whatever games I can on Saturday.

Signed up for a month of ESPN direct for $30. Sharing with my parents worked. I can't really complain when the $80/mo TTTV is split between two households and they're giving me a credit to cover the ESPN direct.

Some industry insiders are claiming it will likely last rest of November.

The last two Saturday's, I payed for the Sling one day pass to watch ABC and ESPN games. I'll probably do that through the end of the CFB season rather than pick up another subscription.

which is crazy to me. YTTV has to be losing more and more subsribers by the day, and I think I read something the other day that like 15% (or something) of ABC/ESPN's advertising revenue was from YTTV streams. It seems like it'd be in the interest of both parties to get this done quick as hell.
