Why burn that asset now? Unless we have a max player in the pipeline?

Why would we want Kuzma?

People think Kuz is the second coming now just bc LAL didn’t want to include him

This can be said for any backup pg in the league lol
When this is all you can come up with then you’re not a very good player.
Drafting him over Tatum and Mitchell was a huge mistake.
He’ll he’s not even better than D-Lo

He has holes in his game but to say he’s no better than a random backup pg is just dumb.

I’ve been to Lakers’ games at Staples, they boo Lonzo
He’s trash but maybe playing in a small city and state will help him

I don’t understand retarded statements like this. You act like the pelicans have a superstar on their team or any even want to be on the team. I’m no Lakers fan, but the Lakers and today’s nba don’t build through the draft. And the 3 players the Pels got are average at best.

Not saying he’s an amazing player but he’s not trash and he’s young enough that he can still develop.

They do.
They control another teams draft picks for the next 7ish years, and that team is relying on a 35 year old that is already top 5ish in minutes played all time, and an extremely fragile passive player.
Good luck. We’ll be fine.

Golden State says otherwise.

There are tons of teams built through the draft.
And guess what a bunch of future draft picks are? Assets. To make a trade
The Pelicans also own 3 wizards 2nds which are basically low first round picks.

How good do you honestly think those 2 draft picks in 2022 and 2024 will be?
If the Lakers win the title next year then it doesn’t even matter

The original warriors line up was built through the draft. They won a championship.

Those swap picks have the ability to be good in the future. But let’s be real.
What’s more likely.
The pelicans having a higher draft pick in 5-7 years or the Lakers?
Those swaps most likely won’t even come into play.
Also you can downplay AD all y’all want bc y’all hate him now but he’s a top 5 player in the league in his prime. I have this weird feeling he’s gonna end up getting hurt a little less often now tht he’s on a team that could contend.

2022 is the double draft. And 2024, who knows? They will probably be in rebuild.
