He was (allegedly) a gangbanger growing up in CA, has assault & harrassment convictions, DUI's and was banned from the Boulder campus for a year while one of the many scumbags on Bill McCartney's teams. Even though long ago, no NFL team willing to risk the backlash of making that guy one of the faces of their franchise.
