NCAA has information and Memphis along with Bates dad are in for some serious scrutiny
Someone in compliance at a Power 5 says it’s bad and they are going to make an example. NCAA got the info handed to them and they are no fan of Penny and Larry Brown.

No true sauce but I’ve heard fedex offered him some crazy amount of money to go to Memphis. He was all in on G-league till that was offered. But with NIL now there is so many loop holes and we shall see if anything even happens

You think Penny of all people has to throw money around to recruit? I can't think of a single DI HC more kids would want to show put for.
And even if he did, who actually gives a frick what the NCAA does any longer?
Also, only those entirely outside of actual sources used the word FedEx. Out of touch to think it's FedEx throwing money at players ever.

Gotta love the NCAA and media going after teams like Memphis and LSU if they dare to get a good recruit twice every decade all while turning a blind eye to Duke, Kentucky, NC every season.
