you can say that i suppose. However, both were great RB's that much is clear. One thing i will say is it will be interesting too see how many of Smith's offensive line makes the hall of fame. None of Sanders have yet and none will.

a few Cowboys O-linemen from that era probably should make it but probably won't because of character issues. Regardless, there have been a shite ton of talented RB's throughout history that will never accomplish what Emmitt did, with or without a great line. It takes more than some hogs blocking for you to run for that many yards for that many years.
