Eli chafes me more about the QB position muscling out so many other positions for consideration given that there are only 6 spots for recent players in each class.
I see Eli as HOF worthy but not before a lot of the guys out there now should be considered, but he will get it because he is both a QB and played for a NY team.

No

Other than Mahomes and Brady, who are 1st ballot locks, every other multiple time Super Bowl MVP is in.

1 Super Bowl and a 100 passer rating with a 3-1 td to int ratio.. yea. He’s in. The QB position is different and thus will have the most HOF numbers.

Eli is making the HOF due to his 2 Superbowls, which just so happened to be over one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history.
I don't necessarily agree with it, but there's no doubt that he will get in the Hall. This is what will give him the nod over a guy like Phillip Rivers, whom I believe was the superior quarterback.

Wilson has a better HOF monitor score from pro football reference, along with Matt Ryan, Rivers, and Roethlisberger. Stafford will pass him soon and Lamar Jackson will catch him too.

Them 2SB rings and SB MVPs and beating TB12 both times is part of reason he will get into HOF

Matt Ryan is missing the big one. Same with rivers but he’s Dan Marino worthy in those regards
I personally put priority on Super Bowl wins when evaluating quarterbacks HOF worthiness.
Stafford has a ring as well and will probably end up in the Hall bc of it.
Jackson is still to young but will definitely get in with a SB and is trending towards definite regardless..

Rivers:
134-106 record, 64.9% completion %, 63,440 yards, 7.8 y/a, 421 TDs to 209 INTs
Eli:
117-117 record, 60.3% completion %, 57,023 yards, 7.0 y/a, 366 TDs to 244 INTs
Yeah, Rivers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Eli.

He should easily make the HOF. He beat Brady twice in Super Bowls.

Only players with more Super Bowl MVPs:
Brady
Montana
Mahomes

And championships, twice

I know about "the play", but he played pretty average at best in the first. Their defense kept them in that game.
19/34 (56%), 255 yards, 2 TDs/1 INT, 3 sacks

Manning’s career record is a very mediocre 117-117. That includes 9-26 in his final three seasons, when he was clearly on a steep decline. His career passer rating of 84.1 ranks just 60th all-time, which really puts him out of step with the quarterbacks of his generation, and even places him below the man who replaced him (Geno Smith, 84.8). Manning was never an All-Pro and went to only four Pro Bowls. Few consider him one of the five best quarterbacks in the era in which he played.
From Fox News.
Sorry that’s not HOF worthy. Was it HOF moments sure.

Namath shouldn't be a HOFer based on stats.

He sucked in the first Super Bowl, was better in the second but the offense only scored 31 combined points in both and there's no way the rest of his career was HOF worthy.
Almost as if he was playing a really good team or something eh?

During the same drive as the play NE flat out dropped one interception and could have had another.

Then where's Jim Plunkett?
Eli had awful, awful years....lets not forget that.
Giants defense won those Super Bowls, holding the 2007 Patriots to 14 points when they were averaging about 100.

He lead his team to TWO Super Bowl vi stories. When a QB can do that, you put him in the HOF. As a QB, you get in with on field performance or Super Bowl wins.
