in all seriousness, Eli sucks arse but there is no planet in this universe or any of the multiverses where Geno Fawking Smith is a better option at QB than Eli Manning. None.

GM/Coach are trying to tank for a high draft pick and also take pressure of themselves and scape-goat Eli.

Super Bowls are a team accomplishment. Bitch had the luckiest play in Super Bowl history to win one of those. Some scrub off the practice squad who never did shite again in his life caught a ball on his helmet. On his fricking helmet. Eli threw the game losing interception literally the play before. Asante Buckner dropped it. Eli is trash.

Not sure why you're getting shite on for this because you're spot on. He's not the worst QB to ever play the game but the HOF is supposed to be for elite players. Players when you play them that Sunday, it's "must see TV". It's for players that singlehandedly will their teams to victory week after week and when you see that opponent on your team, you're like, "shite, we're playing that guy this Sunday". Think of players like Payton Manning, Drew Brees, Brett Favre, Tom Brady- guys that scare you with the ball in the final two minutes.

Eli Manning is none of this. He's Trent Dilfer. Jay Cutler. Phillip Rivers. Joe Flacco.

In his best seasons he was a tier 2 QB. At his worst, he isn't even an NFL starter.

Eli Manning career stats:

59.8% completion rate
334 touchdowns to 222 interceptions

Average NFL season- 24 TDs, 16 INTs, 238 yards per game.

These are not HOF numbers.

Name 3 players on the Giants offense right now not counting Eli. Giants have played with WRs that have spent most of their careers on the practice squad this year because of injuries. They have one of the worst Oline in the leagues and struggle to run the ball. Eli will be in Denver or Jacksonville next year.

Joe Flacco is the perfect comparison.

Better than Dilfer. Dilfer was horrible.

Not as talented as Cutler but better than Cutler. Cutler was an insufferable prick who just did not give a shite. Cutler probably had more natural god given throwing talent than almost anybody in the league while he played. Just didn't give a shite.

You're being harsh on Rivers. I think that dude is a potential HOF QB. Plays for the fricken' Chargers. Never really had the coaches/ defensive cast around him. He is and always has been a BAD arse QB no matter who he's had coaching or playing with him.

1 more ring than Drew Brees. And Eli is not nor has he EVER been remotely in the same stratosphere as Drew Brees.

Drew Brees is a sure-fire future 1st ballot Hall of Famer and is one of the 10 greatest QB's to ever play the game.

So what. A lot of players have more than one ring.

Derrick Loville, Jim Mandich, and Harry Swayne each have three rings. Not only are they not in the Hall of Fame, you've never heard of them.

Oh boy, I'm going to the game too. Raiders will probably still lose.

True.

I have a small rooting interest for the Raiders because of my all-time favorite player Charles Woodson.

WHAT THE F&$! is up with your guys this year? 12-4 last year to 5-6. Giants and Dallas suck. KC has taken a nose dive. Chargers are beatable but it'll be tough. Philly gonna prolly jail-sex y'all but they realistically have a shot to win 4 of those games if they get their shite together.

Too much to list. Rookie OC is terrible, I blame him for the offense tanking.

gotta be honest- was never a fan of Jack Del Rio. I think he sucks actually.

Derek Carr is the shite though. Raiders might want to think about dumping Del Rio and hiring....wait for it....Josh McDaniels. Carr is already a stud that McDaniels would take to the next level.

You can tell it hurt Eli to lose his position. 2nd longest streak as starter in league history only to be benched in week 13 of tank season. I would let him start each 1st quarter until he’s gone.

He's got two rings in NYC and a golden last name. He's probably first ballot HOF whether it's deserved or not.

Race jokes aside, if anyone saw Josina Anderson on Russillo earlier today when this news broke you would know that this is absolutely going to become a race thing in a few weeks when they bench Geno.

Look at you getting offended by something that hasn't happened and won't actually happen.

I would be absolutely shocked if he was 1st ballot.

Why would you bench Geno when you want to lose games?
