The refs protect him. College refs are absolutely horrible.

No you aren’t. And you couldn’t coach a team to stop Edey. He’s a dog but keep melting

But in todays game you absolutely can scheme around him pretty easily, just look at Fairleigh Dickinson last year who’s tallest player was 6’7”
cool. Two time Naismith player of the year. That’s pretty fricking good. Good job pointing out one game

Pretty sure Oden was in his early forties when he was at Ohio St.

I mean, look at the pictures.

No. Basketball was my entire being for most of my childhood. As I got to be a junior in high school I high jumped. That ended up being my passion, now I’m old

Who is melting? All I am saying is go at him. That’s what I would do. I think he’s soft. I don’t care either way. Just my opinion

Imo Lively is so much more explosive than Oden. And so much less intuitive of a basketball player on the offensive side.

I was talking with one of my friends last year that if Lively was born in China, he would be forced to become the world’s best volleyball player. But since he is in a market system with true freedom of choice, he will be the 180th best basketball player and make so much more money.

The key is to force him (and Burns at NC State) to run up and down the floor as much as you can.

Playing a deliberate half court offense will help out Purdue.

But don’t you think coaches with more basketball acumen have tried to do that for two years lol

Dude relax, I said he’s a good player. He deserves his awards but like I said when’s the last college player who was worth a damn at his size? He has an inherent advantage, he is skilled though I’m not taking that away he gets credit for that.

I’m just saying in today’s game, he doesn’t have a jump shot and you can definitely scheme that. I think the difference this year for Purdue is they have guys that can hit 3s.

This is win or go home. Edey should be beat up by now. He’s not. I don’t care about those scratches

Are you seeing with your eyes, that a team has attacked him? I haven’t. I would.

will say it again, put it on him, there is a reason that they haven’t won anything with him

I’m not looking it up but have they not even won their conference regular season or tournament? Despite being a 1 seed twice? It’s unfair in college basketball to expect a national championship or bust… it’s not like he was on that talented Kentucky team
