you guys bitching before knowing the terms?
Might be ideal timing to extend him now, because while it's going to look expensive, it's still likely going to be cheaper than what these QBs are getting these days.
Now, if they broke the bank, then yeah not smart.

OK, that may be a bit silly.

Might as well have ridden it out for a year or two and, worst case scenario, you now have to pay him 35 million a year but he proves he can stay healthy.
