Duncan was a center not a PF, those who know, know that.

I’m not a Spurs fan, but in now way whatsoever is Tim Duncan overrated. Not even close.

And this question is dumb. One is arguably the best player ever at his position. The other is fake tough guy Garnett. KG was good, but Duncan is all-time great.

Can't believe the people that think Duncan was better than Kobe. Not close. Garnett was closer to Duncan than Duncan to Kobe

Duncan was better than maybe every power forward to ever play game,
that's bc he was a center playing power forward so he didn't have to defend centers. pussy move.

Duncan all day every day over KG.

Duncan was 44-17 against KG and I love the rumor that Duncan hates KG.

Of course everyone has their own idea of better but Give me KG for 2 reasons

1. Although brief, KGs peak was slightly better than Duncan’s ceiling

2. Duncan quietly introduced and installed the NBA attitude of crying to refs and cotton soft bitches. I’ll always hate him for that

If youre talking prime. I believe KG's prime was slightly better than Timmy's. The thing is Timmy's prime was a lot longer than KG.

Duncan is certainly the better player. But the matchup is closer than people credit it.

Are you a Rockets/Harden fan out of curiosity?

Duncan’s postseason peak absolutely destroys KG’s postseason peak. When discussing all time greats, I just find it odd when people count the regular season more than the postseason.

Duncan is the only Top 10 player of his generation. Another didn't come along until LeBron.

Good Lord, Duncan is overrated?! I’m a damn Celtics fan and hate Pop but this can’t be a real conversation. And I’m sorry but Duncan was also better than Kobe.

“Pimp” is perhaps not the first word that comes to mind to describe Tim Duncan, but that’s exactly what Metta World Peace referred to him as after witnessing him match up with Kevin Garnett:

“I remember one time Kevin Garnett was mushing him, and shoving him in the face; and Tim Duncan didn’t do anything, he didn’t react. He just kicked Kevin Garnett’s arse, and won the damn championship. You know what I’m sayin’? That’s gangsta. Everybody can show emotion, dunk on somebody, scream and be real cocky; but Tim Duncan is a … he’s a pimp.”
