re: Drew Brees is the unluckiest QB of all time. Stats to prove it

OK.. Tell me what you would rather... Better stats or more titles?????
Titles come from a team, not an individual. But if you're building a team and you have a choice between 2 QBs, what are you going to base it off of? You'd take Dilfer over Marino? Dan Marino didn't win any titles because he didn't have a team around him. He was the team.
With your logic Adam Vinatieri is the best Fg kicker to ever play the game. We can just go down the list of players with the most titles and call them the best or greatest at their position.
There are a few better than Brady but none as lucky.

When you know your defense sucks you need to manage the clock appropriately
Drew Brees offenses not only rank higher in scoring than Brady, they also rank higher in time of possession

Only that Brady will be #1 all-time in passing yards and TDs this time next year.

But at least you’ll still have your spreadsheet.

Elway took FIVE teams to the SB.. Marino led his team to one.....
So Jim Kelly and Eli Manning were better than Marino?

Played in the same era
Elway
56.9%—220 yards/game—4.1 td%—3.1 int%—79.9 rating
Marino
59.4%—253.6 yards/game—5.0 td%—3.0int %—86.4 rating
You’re ignoring attempts per game, Elway’s rushing ability, and the fact that his coach was running once they got within the 10 while Marino would still be passing.
Marino is the better passer of the two, but they are equal in terms of all-time rank at QB (both in the top ten).

Pride isn’t a GW drive considered any drive that puts a team ahead for good in 4th qtr. so you get credit for it at any time in the 4th?
So how many of these perceived blown game winners happened before the 3 minute mark by the Saints

He’s 1,100 yards behind Brees.

I find it statistically impossible Brady teams would have only given up a score any time in the 4th qtr.

So you’re not sure? I’m taking it as they used the Denver Bronco method that gave Elway 47 game winners then. Any drive that put a team ahead in the 4th

An amazing stat for Marino is that with almost 8400 pass attempts he was only sacked 270 times in his career. Compare Elway, he had 1,000 fewer attempts and was sacked 518 times in his career.
Marino was magical in the pocket, and along with his quick release was impossible to sack

So you’re not sure?
But I will say this, if Brady defenses only gave up the lead 4 times in the entirety of the 4th qtr after being put ahead, that is the best defense of all time to be given to a QB

Or it’s an indictment on how CSP and the DC’s for the Saints managed the game and situations

Brady never played with a defense ranked outside of the top 10
