It's not quite as black and white as you're making it but on the whole there is a separation there between like a Joe Montana,
You have to admit, he's certainly more like Colt Brennan than he is Joe Montana.

Montana and Marino are in the same boat as far as system QBs
Was just about to post that. If ever there is a poster boy for the "system QB" argument, its Montana.
Does Brees fit the system perfectly? Yes. Thank god.

I'm having trouble figuring out if you're really this stupid or just acting like it.

So you think that you can just plug in any quarterback from the top 20 NFL teams (assuming that the 15-20 qbs play for one these teams) and they will put up similar/better numbers?
And they would all be worth 100 million dollars.

You need to be way less obvious with the trolling.

What. There aren't 15-20 good QBs in the NFL.

Moderate to humble success prior to arriving in New Orleans, a drastic drop in performance when the system is suspended for a year.
You can't be this f-ucking stupid.
Last year, the only reason we got 7 wins was because of Drew Brees.
He was always playing from behind because Spagnoula gave us the worst defense IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL.
As far as his San Diego days, you can pretty much put that all on Schottenheimer, who never had any faith in Brees and actually drafted Eli F-ucking Manning to replace him - and then traded him for Phillip "Even Worse" Rivers.
How'd that work out for S.D.?
Posted on 11/1/13 at 12:50 pm to Tennessee Jed
there's 15-20 QBs that can do what he does, yet no teams are able to copy the Saints offense and have the same results. Go figure

Does anyone have that ridiculous list of all of Drew Brees' records and such? Can't find it.

If you think Montana was just a system QB then I don't know what to tell you because you probably never watched him play. Joe was an ice cold assassin that would rip your heart out.

I love Montana. I also hated him at the same time being a Saints fan. But the West Coast Offense was BUILT for Joe Montana. It was perfect for him.
That was part of my point. Somehow "system QB" is a negative thing, when it should not be. A QB fitting a system perfectly is a wonderful thing.
