Again, I apologize for saying that to you. This situation has got me extremely upset, more than I probably should be.

What do you mean yikes?

You can’t say it isn’t about the flag if the guy who started it says it’s about the flag.

I mean, kinda

When you follow a protest leaders movement, you are kinda following what their message is. Thats how it works

Yes, I marched with the Klan. But I was marching for equal pay, not white supremacy. My message is my own!!!!

Brees teammates have told him repeatedly that their protests are not meant to be disrespectful to the troops.

Brees opinion is that protests are disrespectful.

that is somehting that they have agreed to disagree on, based on Brees having made those comments before, and everyone moving on.

If you vote republican does that mean you agree with ALL republican policies?

Come on Bubba. Don’t be so intellectually dishonest.

What about when its supposed to be all about unity, education, love, support, ideas, and then you tell whitie to shut the frick up. Then you turn around and say silence is violence.

The same people who parrot this are the first one's to call Trump a racist for saying there were good people on both sides at Charlottesville.

So when it comes to Kaepernick and the kneelers, no one else can presume to know their intentions and motives. But for Charlottesville, everyone who was there is a white supremacist, even though I personally know people from local SCV chapters here who went up to protest the statue removal, not to engage in an alt-right/Antifa brawl.

The BLM and SJW movements are the most intolerant groups in America. Their motives cannot be questioned and one must be 100% pure to the cause or face cultural and social excommunication. They're no different than Westboro Baptist and other fundamentalist cult groups.

He made the kneeling for the flag about something that it was never meant to be for - the troops

The point of kneeling for the flag is to show the opposite of respect for it in a moment when people honor the country and show pride in it. Everyone else would stand. It's why Kaepernick would just sit down on the bench originally.

But the connection between the military and pride in America is inexorable, given the lyrics of the anthem depicting a historic battle, and the fact that the country was founded on a rebellion in the first place.

You may not agree with people's interpretation, but it's there for a reason, and it doesn't help matters when the leader of the movement openly supports Fidel Castro and Qasem Soleimani, and condones violent rioting.
