you have to think once Brees and Brady are done, those records should be safe for a long time. The NFL is really struggling with young QB talent.

just to note, matt ryan was just 4th youngest to reach 30k behind manning, marino, and favre.

im not saying he gets up there, but still

I’d be very surprised if Brady played past next season. Giselle wanted him to retire after last year.

Brady would probably be at 70 if he was able to get that 2008 season with prime Moss

Incredible numbers by both guys

I was responding to the comment saying the MSM doesn't care about him. Because why would you?

Because he's one of the best ever and 70k is a huge milestone.

That's one reason.

Eh. Did it playing for a small market team and only won one super bowl.

ETA: This was also done while padding his stats by getting to play 3 of the historically worst franchises of all time twice a year. If he did this while playing in something like the NFC East then it'd be more impressive.

Ryan and Stafford will both end up very high on the yards/TDs list. Stafford is 29 lol

Third guy to ever do it, and you're talking about stat padding and wanting it to be more impressive.

Because playing the Bills, Dolphins, and the Jets twice a season is so much better.

It's always bugged me how postseason stats aren't included.

This in and of itself is unimpressive. But Tom's got 5 Superbowl rings. Drew only has 1. So he has to hold onto those stats more so.

Probably not, but Brees has also had the advantage of playing his entire career in either SoCal or inside (and in smaller markets).

Very true. I didn't think about that which makes Favre and Brady much more impressive. Peyton only had to deal with the cold for a few seasons.

It’s unfortunate that Peyton Manning had that injury. He would still be playing today with these two if it wasn’t for his severely diminished arm strength.
