I'm not sure it's mental toughness, but GS never panics. They play their game for 48 minutes.

When Houston came out blazing a lead in games 6 and 7, they just kept playing their game, got hot in the third and sustained when Houston didn't. When LeBron had a historically good Game 1, they just kept playing their game.

GS can lose focus and they were super ordinary at times in the regular season. When they want it, they execute the plan and let the constant talent advantage they have do the work.

Over such a large sample size that’s going to happen. But in the end you don’t win 73 games without being tough mentally.

What’s the win % stat they showed year by year in th playoffs for this team? They had like 3 of the 5 best win % in the playoffs with their 3 title teams. You want to talk about Nadal burying opponents. That’s what they do.

Of course they are talented. But in the end they are a team that relies on the 3. To totally go all-in on the 3 ball & win in that manner is unprecedented. It takes mental toughness to go back to that well even when it’s not working & erase deficits like they do.

Im not saying they are mentally weak, I just dont think their mental toughness is anymore than average

Their advantage and success comes from their physical talent advantage

Its amazing you managed to post something that is the exact opposite of what is happening

Multiple things happen at once. I'm only addressing GSW haters right now.

Haters list their reasons for hating Lebron, which Golden State takes those attributes and adds HGH to it, yet those posters cheer for Golden State

I can't take the stance I took and not think this is true.

You think you're disagreeing with me but you're really not.

I really am

LeBron fanboys like Lebron, so they cheer against his opponents. That isnt hypocritical or lacking logic

Lebron haters say they hate him for being a douchebag and sjw liberal, yet cheer for a team full of douchebags and sjw liberals on steroids That is lacking logic and is hypocritical

I love avg players getting cocky, once on a stacked team. Draymond, go to Cleveland once LBJ leaves, show us how great and tough you are. I'll wait

Such a tough collective of individuals. That’s why their best player has burner accounts.

Not according to the fellas at basketball reference:

I guess John Wall and LaMarcus Aldridge are easily headed to the Hall easily too???

BTW, Kevin Love is a near lock compared to Green

There are people below Draymond on that list that are actually in the HOF now.

How many of them are modern players? Did any of them even play into the 90s?

Goalposts are moving, I see.

But anyway, Manu will be a HOFer, he's below Draymond on that list.

Wouldn't call Draymond average, but he's a supporting level player on a championship team.

How good would a team with him as their best player be? I'd like to get opinions on this, just so I can get an idea of how others are rating him.

Draymond isn't a Hall of Famer, but he is the Warriors' designated tough guy and pest. He's really good at being obnoxious and I love him for it.

He's like Danny Ainge with talent.

It's a bit tricky because the best player on a team is always going to be a guy who is a good scorer, and can get his own buckets. Draymond is not that.

But he's a pretty unique case. He's arguably the best defensive player in the game. And yea, playing with 3 shooters certainly helps inflate his assists numbers, but he is a fantastic passer/facilitator.

If he's a team's best player, that likely means they don't have anyone who can really score the ball, since that is the most valuable piece in basketball IMO.
