I love when people who hate Draymond act like he's a nobody.

what people are saying is how much of a somebody would he really be if he wasn't on the Warriors? He'd be a solid player but he wouldn't be the all-star he's been the past 3 years.

He'd still be arguably the best defensive player in the NBA, and a great facilitator.

i imagine he'd still be an All STar, though All Stars really don't mean much to be honest.

You can't, which is why Boom is using it in his argument so no one can "prove" him wrong

Id put him as fringe all star. But if he was truly the best player on your team, nobody on this board would really talk about him, and neither would the media. He would be an afterthought completely

I don't know, I'm talking about Draymond, who will get in, no question IMO.

You're the one that seems beholden to that list, not me.

Disagree.

The team may not be great, but if he were truly the best player on a team, I'd bet he'd average near a triple double. He'd probably be something like a 15/9/9 type guy.

That's pretty rare, not really fringe All Star material IMO.

Put him on a team that doesn't get the exposure Golden State does and no he's not. I'll give you an example. Pau Gasol plays in Memphis for 8 years. He made exactly one all-star game. He goes to LA, puts up almost identical numbers on a better and more popular team, and makes three straight all-star games his first 3 years in LA.

SO you're telling me a guy like Draymond is going to put up 14 and 8 and be a perennial all-star on a team not named golden state? please

I don't care about All Star appearances, so ok.

Pao gasol averaged 19-9-3 on 51% shooting in memphis for 8 years and made 1 all star game

I dont see draymond being an all star lock if he was doing his thing in obscurity in memphis or orlando

Pau made three straight all-nba teams the year after leaving memphis as well since you don't care about all-star teams.

Intangibles always show up in that win loss column.

No kidding. There are all-star level players on lottery teams.

I didn't dispute it. I asked how you know that, to which, you did not answer.

Yeah, I question the wisdom of someone that uses the word "always" in the context of something that can't be measured in the first place.
