Pick 1: 1. Medical professionals cleared Tua last week Or 2. Medical professionals, including independent NFL UNC, lied about his concussion last week. It really is only one of those 2.

The team doctor performs the exam. The NFL doctor is a consultant, much like a doctor “consults” with a NP at many primary care offices.
Then we should hear from the independent medical personnel that the team doctor rejected his assessment.

Surprised we haven’t heard that yet…unless it isn’t a factor.

I’m honestly not sure if the consultant even performs any exam. Regardless, the NFLPA has been on this since the moment he went back in the game last week. Hopefully we find out more one way or the other. The injury and on field reaction seems like a pretty textbook neurological injury, but I’m not a doctor like Scruffy.

According to Jeremy Hill on his radio show on Monday, the sideline protocol is a joke. He said the actual testing happens Monday with a specialist.

Then what is the point of them being there?

Seems like an NFL problem.

That is on the NFL and the NFLPA then.

Does anyone here truly believe Tua did NOT suffer a concussion last week?

So does someone independent of the team perform sideline testing? I honestly thought this was the case.

Frauds.....maybe not, but certainly seems compromised. Here's the problem, he played last week after allegedly getting a concussion...and played well.

I have two friends who are neurologists who played college football who looked at both videos tonight and both said that they were amazed that Tua was allowed back in on Sunday.

Sounds like your typical social media attention whoring drama queen. Bet he begged all his patients to get vaccinated too.

So you’re saying 2 concussions in a week is cool? What are your qualifications other than being a idiot loser trash bag?

I’ve had lower back issues my entire adult life. If I really push myself my quads can straight up go numb. I’ve stumbled like that before. Blood flow being narrowed to your leg muscles can cause this.

Is that what happened to Tua? Possibly. I doubt he would have been in the game with a concussion in today’s NFL.

I absolutely agree with all of them being fired.

Tua’s fingers crippling is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen.

When dealing with the level of hyperbole, dramatics, and stupidity in this thread it's pretty much just shooting fish in a barrel. But thanks anyway mate.

The hit

Him nearly fainting and then being helped to simply stand

Here is the thing. Let’s say he didn’t have a concussion, and instead had “spinal shock” or whatever else people call it. Is that better? Is that safer to go back in a football game?

Your spinal column taking such an injury your brain is effected. That seems more dangerous than a head concussion considering how often you take hits to the back in football

The fact they are trying to act like his ankle was injured which led to the loss of balance is clear they are hiding something wouldn’t you say?
