I knew Ron Gant had some power, but didn't know he could hit for average also. Interesting

He’s on pace to hit .362 this year
I laughed pretty hard and needed that this morning, thanks.

He’s at .347 now with 7 HRs and 32 Rs scored.
He has more first inning runs than the entire Mets team combined.

The raw power he has for someone who is not built like a traditional power hitter is mind boggling. He's 6'0 205 and hits the ball like Giancarlo Stanton. That ball he hit last night was absolutely obliterated.

Ronnie is a special player, no doubt. He's a legit 5 tool player.
Near the top of the league in runs scored, batting avg and OBP.
He leads the league in stolen bases.
He's on pace for 30 HR and 96 rbi's from the leadoff spot.
And a couple of nights ago he caught a fly ball and threw a lazer strike to 3rd base and double-up the tagging runner.
So much fun to watch.
