I know he plays arguably the most difficult position in the NBA to be selected as an All Star. PF in the Western Conference.

The guy is leading the Grizzlies towards a winning record, and a run at the play offs.

He's averaging just over 20 points and 13 rebounds a game, and has been named Western Conference player of the week twice this season.

One of three guys to do this. Randolph, Dirk, Westbrook.

Posting this because I know there's little chance he'll be selected.

Randolph and Aldridge from Portland are two of the most under-rated 4's in the league imo.

The All-Star is more about name recognition than stats, but his numbers are impressive. He has always been vastly underrated his whole career, but he is kind of a troublemaker, I think.

Yah he has that stigma, never had any problems in Memphis though.

Heard a good debate on WWL, about Randolph or David West making the all start team.

Zbo made Kevin Love look like a little kid last night.

Love got his double double, because the Grizzlies had the game in hand at the start of the fourth quarter.

i don't think there is an honest debate

randolph is better than david west

now in terms of people, randolph is a much bigger piece of shite (and west isn't exactly a boyscout)

The biggest problem with Z-Bo is that he's a complete black hole not to mention his general jackassery. However, people have gone so far against him that he's become underrated

In the past. He's not in Memphis.

He's playing the best ball of his career here. He's had no legal transgressions or problems with teammates.

It appears as though moving to Memphis, made him mature has both a player and person.

Some contender's probably gonna get Randolph at the deadline and he's gonna really help somebody.

I understand them wanting sign Gasol because he's younger, but to me he's regressed this year. I wouldnt wanna pay him what he's gonna get

Grizzlies will off load Mayo for a low rent nobody, and sign Zbo and Gasol.

They couldve had Monta Ellis for Mayo last year

So they're gonna basically have 3 max guys, or close to it, with Randolph, Gasol, and Gay?

Golden State shut that down, not Memphis.

gasol needs to be dealt before he's signed. that move has "frick your franchise" all over it

the deal they gave mike conley was really bad as well. avg is $9M per fricking yera for 14/7 ?

that deal + gasol getting anything over $10M/year for 3-4 years is exactly why the NBA is going to lock itself out

the owners cannot help themselves

I will say that getting drafted by Portland in the middle of the Jailblazers era was probably the worst thing that could have happened to the guy. He was and remains a complete idiot, but not a flat out bad guy like Rueben Patterson or Qyntel Woods
