Can't make a decision about HOF based primarily on stats. There's more to greatness than stats.

I'm guessing it's Gore.

For sure. Amazing longevity. Very similar career trajectory as Curtis Martin.

sure, he'll likely finish top 5 in rushing yards for a career and top 10 career in yards from scrimmage

Maybe but he should wait a while.

Never first team all pro. Second team all pro once. Your classic compiler.

Although the longevity in that position is particularly impressive.

If you have to submit a CV to Hall voters, you probably don't belong.

Martin had to submit his resume - some recent receivers showing their big stats, etc.

Same with Gore.

Hall isn't about stat compiling.

My first guess just looking at numbers was Sproles. Can you post his same numbers? Just curious.

that's not a classic compiler. You look at his numbers & he has 7 seasons of over 1,100 yards rushing, and in every one has averaged over 4.0 YPC

If you want to look at compilers, look at guys like Jerome Bettis and Eddie George.

Frank Gore is quality.

If Frank Gore is a Hall of Famer, is Edgerrin James? Compare the numbers.

I think they both should be. James was probably better at his peak but Gore's durability as a running back is incredible. Didn't he suffer a couple of major injuries in college too?
