I don't think we have to worry about him not having Kelce for at least another year or two but your point is valid.
Reid isn't retiring anytime soon IMO.

I mean that is a valid criticism. Cassel didn’t start a single game from November/December 2000 until September 2008.
They went 3-1 with Brissett and Jimmy GQ in 2016 as well.
During his time in New England as the starter, they went 14-6 without him. 70% winning percentage. That’s equivalent to going 12-5 every season which is playoff level.
Colts went 2-14 without Manning.

RB is just a completely different position. Same as WR. Because the QB directs so much of what’s going on during a game, his ultimate gauge is wins.
Don’t get me wrong, numbers matter a ton, but with the evolution of the game, winning is the only way to compare past to present qb’s.

He basically had Walmart greeters catching passes for him this year. If he won one with basically 0 viable pass catching options that would be pretty amazing

Unless Mahomes retires or gets hurt to the point he can no longer play, he will remain a Chief. That franchise is not getting rid of him on a trade to another team.
