That's part of the fun of the game. You have players you love and players you hate. It's fun watching them play each other and pulling for your favorite players
Yea I'm all for that.

This is what I'm referring to. Reading through this thread, it's clear that not everyone does this, and that's the thing I don't understand when the hate or even love clouds things to THAT degree. That's crazy to me, mindbottling even.

Realistically, how is Houston in play for both?

They have a lot of team options on players, decline options to create cap space and sign CP3 and then do something like a S&T of Lin and Asik for Dwight. One thing I'm not sure of is how Lin and Asik count in a trade. The poison pill maneuver Houston used to get them forces them to count the average of their salary against the cap so $8 million instead of $5 million. I'm not sure if that requirement transfers if they get traded or not. If it does then it's a viable move, if not then I can see LA not wanting Lin and Asik and their balloon payments in 2 years.

How can you? Dude is a whiny bitch that flops all over the court and is constantly complaining to the refs about everything.

Minus the flopping part, he'd fit right in as a Knick!

I'd fap all day if it happened

No I didn't. Dallas has Dirk and shite. They don't have the cap space or assets to get both CP3 and Dwight, the 3 teams I listed have the cap space and another star level player to form a big 3.

Huh? Dallas has like 4-5 players under contract next year and massive amounts of cap space. They have roughly $12 million more than Houston.

Lin and Asik's contract would be the same for a new team as it for Houston, 8 mil per year for all 3 years. So basically every contract on Houston is tradeable so if CP and Dwight wanted to go there they could easily make it happen.

Chris Paul punched Julius Hodge in the nuts.

As an NC State student, I'm not allowed to like him.

Dallas has about $37 million in salary commitments if they dump everyone that's dumpable. That's enough cap space to get you either CP3 or Howard, not both. Houston, Atlanta and New Orleans all have adequate packages they could trade for Dwight, I don't think Shawn Marion and Vince Carter are going to get it done.

While I still disagree with you, you make a very compelling argument.
