I'm an SC fan, they are not good. It's another soft Lincoln Riley team. Ohio State wins easily

There’s an argument that Oregon could still be a decent football team. But that game is in Columbus.
USC gave up 26 and 30 to San Jose st and ooh la la respectively, went to the wire with Rutgers, and lost by two touchdowns to Oregon with their back up qb.

Alabama lost by 14 to 5-7 FSU last year.
Ohio State lost by 1 to #1 Texas in Austin.
If a 14 point loss to a 5-7 didn't keep Bama out, then a 1 point loss to #1 Texas shouldn't keep Ohio State out.

In your hypothetical, if Ohio State loses two more games, who is their signature win? And if it's Indiana, that means they also incurred at least one bad loss. You're crossing yourself up.

I don’t see why this is difficult to understand.
Alabama went 10-2 in the regular season.
They were not going to drop them enough to allow say a 10-2 non seccg participant to get in and bama miss it.

Ohio state at 10-2 and making the big ten championship game is in. Win or lose.
Just like bama.
Ohio state at 9-3 is very different.
The big ten and SEC have a massive incentive to keep it that way or else people are going to demand they go away.

Not sure I agree. I think we lose 1 more and at 10-2 most likely get in. At 9-3 I dont see us making it and Im ok with the logic of that. It will make people rethink playing tough OOC games in the future same as Texas last year.

Absolutely. The whole playoff committee system was created years ago for one reason and one reason only - to keep the B1G relevant. There is no way a 3-loss Buckeye team gets kept out.

I also think that there will be AT LEAST 1 SEC team with 3 losses that will have an objectively harder schedule than that, although I suspect OSU would get in over them anyway
I do not think that schedule is "brutal", about as difficult as it gets in the big 10 this year though. It looked brutal a month ago, now it looks manageable
