PJ probably won't answer since he's outside the public library running a 4.1 40 and switch-hitting for the cycle.

I don't get why Doc gets a pass for being an over paid mediocre coach and a quitter so everyone can beat on BS. Do people not realize that doc was KG and Ray away from bein fired? Has his tenure in Orlando been just deleted? The guy quit on his franchise and was a bitch about it. It will be fun to see what happens when he and the clips can't get out of their way in a couple of years.

BS is being kinda pissy about it, but doc has been a bitch.

Doc is probably a top 5 coach. Yea KG and Allen fell into his lap during the championship season, but the runs after that are what showed he was a great coach.

Bill Simmons ego and sense of self-worth has gotten well out of hand. When you are a fan and an analyst, you have to separate the two. He can't. He always thinks he's the smartest basketball guy in every room and won't let anyone tell him anything.

As he openly admitted years ago...he was simply a blogger who made to national attention...

So he's basically message board guy who has a bigger pulpit...

...and thinks he should run every NBA team. It's a good thing most people on message boards don't have access to the actual sports world...Bill Simmons is an example of what goes wrong when you blur those lines between fandom...and I guess what he is..."professional fan."

Well Thibs was in Chicago when the C's were up 3-2 on the Heat in the 2012 ECF, so Doc must've been doing something right.

You're being naive if you don't think Simmons is usually the smartest basketball mind in the room.

So blowing a 3-2 lead is a good thing?

Only because Bosh didn't start playing in that series until Game 5.

As a 4 seed against the overwhelming favorite? I'd say they had an impressive season.

Bet you had a chance to go play for Wooden, huh? But you turned him down because trailer park life was just too good.

I will say I lost respect for him when the team lost 18 in a row pre Big 3. He does seem to quit on them at certain times.

I understand this. BUT BS is TOTAL BS. A POS who THINKS he knows shite...... Typical NERD LOSER....... Never made a three pointer in his life yet thinks HE can tell when an NBA coach quits....

Are you kidding me?

It doesn't matter why he quit but he quit.

So what if he didn't want to a rebuild?

Doc is being a huge baby over somebody saying something that is flat out true.

You don't need to have played in the league to see that he quit.

Holy shite that's a ridiculous stance you just took.
