I'm stunned, stunned Lucy allows you to play golf.

I guess as long as the lettuce isn't touching the shrimp, you can do what you damn well please.

I don't think I have ever had alcohol while playing...

Cigs on the other hand...

So you're saying that cigs today are better than cigs in the 70's?

This isn't logical.

No. I play in the early morning. Right after my Quad Espresso from Starbucks.

I can't drink coffee before I play, and I drink coffee every morning otherwise. I just lose focus

I usually don't start drinking until I screw up a good round....Which is typically no later than the 3rd green.

I truly feel like if I drink a few beers I play better. Now once I hit that point where I start to get a buzz I go to shite. Got to take it slow.

coffee messed me up this Sunday. For the first 8 or 9 holes I was all jittery because I got an espresso on the way to the course (impulse buy because my buddy wanted to stop for breakfast). Never again.

ETA: usually drink beer on the course. Thinking of switching to whiskey though.

I don't drink anything except water/gatorade on the course, ever. I take golf seriously

Allowing drinking on the course is why most public courses are shite. It attracts the once a month/ slow play/ cargo shorts/ tennis shoes crowd. frick that.

I wish it were banned from courses

I drink beer. I play better and don't get pissed at my bad shots.

I don't like to drink coffee before, either. It doesn't let me keep steady. Usually beer calms me and keeps me loose.

Beer. I play well on a few, and then go to shite if I have too many because I stop giving a frick.

I know I sound like a stickler... I'm really not. I drink just as much as the next guy. I love beer, a lot. I just don't think it should be on the golf course. I guess it's just the way I was taught maybe? I figured I would catch some flak for my comments lol

She likes me out of the house as much as possible. So she can watch her stupid Ghost Hunters crap without me smirking.

Guy: "If there is some one here would you please indicate your presence."
Girl: "I think I heard something."
Guy: "Absolutely. It was a ghost."

I'll have a few if Im playing with some friends or in a scramble and the beer is free. Normally play by myself so I'm not big on drinking by myself nor while playing golf by myself.

I was once playing a round after a scramble. I stole about a 12 pack of free beer after drinking a good bit on the back nine. I got to the next round with my friends. Start complaining about how heavy my bag is. Check it out and remember I have 12 beers in my bag.
