both of those wouldve worked better than a black tie with a grey suit. all im saying is as much money as he has you would think someone could show him a little fashion sense. he looks like he's straight out of dreary ole london for sure.

The blue I can see..Not a fan of pink really. Yellow is the new blue. Go yellow.

But I still like the combo. I'm a fan of dark combos though..

i probably wouldve worn red as a tie in with the flag colors. but pink wouldve been a good choice. and of course yellow, i thought that went without saying. black sucks.

Americans wear the ignorance badge pretty well. Willfully ignorant and we like it that way.

If anyone legitimately "hates" soccer, I would love to know your reasons. You can dislike having to watch it, but why make fun of it or feel the need to repetitively say you hate something because you don't understand it?

So hate = don't understand it?

For all intents and purposes, I hate soccer. If I say I dislike it, is that really much different? Nope.

My reasons are that it's boring to watch, I can't imagine playing it (and I've always loved playing sports), and it just doesn't interest me. Like someone said, when someone says they hate it, it doesn't have to mean they personally hate the sport of soccer...but it's definitely not a difficult thing to understand.

I like watching golf on TV, but can easily understand why someone would say they hate watching it.

ETA: it has nothing to do with me thinking it's "not a sport" or something stupid like that.

I just lol'd at this comment..I don't know why. All I see is a untucked polo and shorts or jeans when I think of you. Never once thought you were a big fashion man...

no, because we go out of our way to make sure everyone knows we hate it

if the US won the world cup, I think a lot of opinions would change

Not really.

Don't get me wrong, I'd imagine playing it is more fun than watching it on TV (much like baseball). But all in all, I have no desire, nor have I ever had it, to play soccer. Running around and kicking a ball simply isn't my cup of tea. I've always thought I'd make a decent goalie though, especially if I was a little taller.

Ahh...Well I trust you. You are a man. You must know more about suits than I do. But I can tell you...NO woman in her right mind is thinking he looks ugly or that suit is shitty. It's fricking Beckham. No one cares about the suit. He's just hot.

Well duh, for 2 reasons. Bandwagon fans and the US loves winning and hates losing then doesnt support losing teams. If we suck at it....we dont care.

Oh for sure...

But then again it would take us going further than ever before to even get the team up to where it needs to be to win the cup. And that won't happen without people changing their viewpoints of the sport and supporting it more.

It's one of those things..What needs to happen first - chicken or the egg kind of deals...
